
This was the patio garden last July. My sweet dogs and I sat there in the sun with a cup of tea in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. It was a bright spot in an otherwise dreadful year.

This was the patio garden last July. My sweet dogs and I sat there in the sun with a cup of tea in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. It was a bright spot in an otherwise dreadful year.
The lilacs were gorgeous this year and the scent drifted into the house through the windows.
There have always been Black Eyed Susan and Aster wherever I have lived. I hope there always will be.
This is English Lavender. It grows beautifully here in Southeastern Maine. Love it so dearly.

These bloom so fleetingly.


Blossoms from one of the old apple trees currently in bloom. I don’t think there is anything prettier.
The room is filled with the fragrance of roses, freesia and lilac.
